The Philadelphia Acting Studio began in 2009 inside the legendary Media Bureau Network, Northern Liberties. George DiCenzo RIP (Back to the Future) was our first teacher who came to us from one of the nation's oldest and most respected acting schools, The Beverly Hills Playhouse. A year later, we were fortunate to land our next teacher, Kenneth McGregor (X-Men), who helped us produce our first show, "The Acting Class, the Play" in the 2010 Philadelphia Live Arts Festival/Philly Fringe.
Since then, things have moved forward with powerful momentum and we now offer several brand new classes that are integral to our growth into a comprehensive acting school. With the addition of a very talented and wonderful group of teachers the studio is growing stronger every day. We are excited to announce our partnerships with local schools with The Philadelphia Acting Studio's After School Theatre & Film Program.
We are a group of enthusiastic and passionate individuals that have merged our unique talents into a fierce creative team to serve and enhance our local acting community. We offer over 100 years of collective industry experience in Theatre, Television and Film.
Our common goal is to help you move towards your dreams and grow as an actor. You can be certain that you will find a supportive, dynamic and professional environment here. We look forward to working with you, thank you. - Bernard
